Divan
Each year, the Nobility of Al Kader elects a set of Officers to lead
their efforts for that year. These Officers—the Elected Divan—include
the Potentate, the Chief Rabban, Assistant Rabban, High Priest and
Prophet, Oriental Guide, Recorder and Treasurer.
In turn, the Potentate appoints additional Officers to assist for that
year in managing the activities of the Shrine Center, the Nobility and
the Temple’s Units and Clubs. |

Volunteers of the Year
Congratulations to the hospital’s newest Lady and Gentleman Volunteers of the year.
Aleta Siefer and Phil Strother were named as volunteers of the year at the annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner held on April 29th at the Al Kader Shrine Center.

In December, 2006 a group of regulars at the Lake Oswego, Oregon Applebee's decided, rather than exchanging holiday gifts between each other, to purchase a toy that would be donated to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
