Our second
longest standing
unit is the
fabulous Al
Kader Concert
Band. The band
was formed prior
to 1912 and has
been in
continuous
operation ever
since. They
perform at
Shrine Center
functions and
present concerts
at various
locations
throughout the
year. The
Concert band
members also
perform in
several smaller
groups that
perform
“specialty”
music. (They do
Bavarian,
Dixieland, etc
in different
costumes) The
Band has been
favored with the
talents of many
outstanding
musicians and
Directors over
its long
history. All
musicians are
welcome to join.
