The
oldest Unit is
the Al Kader
Patrol which was
formed in 1908.
They have a very
colorful history
over their 100
years of
service. The
sharp stepping
Patrolmen appear
in many parades
and Shrine
events each year
and are
considered the
official Honor
Guard to the
Potentate. Not
only do they
present the
various flags at
all events, they
operate their
1941 Willis Jeep
to pull their
“People Mover”
trailer in most
parades.

Oregon Charitable Checkoff News
